We pre-sold a few of these to interested people so that we could both benefit the buyers and reduce our prototyping costs due to quantity pricing on the parts.
Well, a lot of work went into them, and we only have a couple issues left to deal with should we move into production. One of the issues that would be dealt with would be a nicer cabinet with silk-screened face and rear panels.
If and when we go into production on these they will probably be prebuilt - ready for use. We cannot give a price range that they will sell for should we begin production. We sold the prototypes for $80 but that is a give-away-the-farm price, we actually lost money on the deal. Like I said, our purpose was to do prototyping - we have no immediate production plans.
